Nazarene Israel Parashiot – Suggested Torah Portion Schedule 2023-2024

This restored Second Temple Period feast cycle is designed to re-establish the Torah Parasha system that was used during Yeshua’s time in the Second Temple Period. It begins based on the aviv barley in Israel (see our studies on the calendar). It refreshes on Rosh HaShanah (Aviv 1) of each year, with the ripening of the (first) firstfruits of barley in the land of Israel.
All feast dates include the evening before (except Pesach and Shemini Atzeret).
While the Torah (Pentateuch) portion of the parasha will not normally change, the Haftarah and the Brit Chadasha portions may change each year as the Spirit leads, to help our people navigate the end times successfully.
Congratulations and praise Yahweh that you have found this restored original Second Temple Period feast cycle schedule, that starts the year when Yahweh says to start the year!

This schedule is only a recommendation. Elders, please feel free to depart from it as the Spirit leads. On average, one year in three will be a “leap year” with 13 months. In those years we read chapters from the Renewed Covenant (NT) which remind us of our calling in Yeshua (until the next Aviv 1).

It can help to read the material before attending fellowship, or listening to any other studies. Then after Elohim has shown you the insights He has for you and your family, it can help to listen to the insights Elohim is giving others in our nation so that together we can all move the Great Commission forward. I will share insights from an apostolic and prophetic level. Your congregational elders and deacons may have other important insights from the “lay leader” level.

We do not add to the Torah by celebrating man-made holidays such as Hanukkah or Purim. (For why Yeshua did not celebrate Hanukkah, please see the Torah Calendar study.) Tabernacles is an “open” feast (evangelism). All other festivals and meetings are closed to the public (set apart). (The traditional “exploration period” is three months.)
